About

This is an informational site, made by a taxpayer for x-self to keep tabs on everything related to the Bindingsteuer, one of the greatest political scandals ever in Germany.

Should any other taxpayer or anyone else find the information interesting, fantastic!

The taxpayer felt the need to document all about the Bindingsteuer to avoid that it goes unknown, it does remain unfought, and it does not remain in active service, because the implications would be gigantic, given its traits:

  • Unlimited taxing, up to the Infinite Tax Rate
  • Taxes on Losses
  • Eternally Growing Non-Recoverable Losses
  • Prohibition of Portfolio Protection
  • Driving into Private Bankruptcy

Summarized:

  • Expropriation (Technically: "Unlimited taxing of private assets, because why not")

It may not seem so serious and severe today, because it "initially" only affects trading with derivatives and with it a small group of people.

But should it stand, future social-communists politicians could introduce similar taxing policies for:

  • Income from work, taxing private assets because people go to work
  • Corporate Gains, taxing business assets/capital because the company does business
  • Private Assets, taxing it because people engage in an unmoral activity: breathing

This is not a joke.

It shall be recalled that the Bindingsteuer was introduced through a back door, in a law which addressed the "obligation of reporting cross-border tax arrangements".

And with it came the small change to enable to expropriate people because they trade. It should be clear that using a backdoor was meant to hide from proper monitoring.

Which is proven by the fact that when the Federal Council (Bundesrat) analyzed the implementation and already reported on its ill effects and called for its removal, the Federal Council was ignored.

    Sensitive Moderation Team

Moderation is awkward in Wallstreet-Online. The thread was migrated to the politics category to allow political discussion, in spite of which, people do still get banned for political opinions. Strange, given it is a political topic.
